Swap Calling
Calling someone's discard and then immediately discarding a tile that would have completed the meld anyway (e.g. call chow on 3 w/ 45 → discard 6; call pon on 2 w/ 22 → discard 2) is not allowed.
Multiple Winners
In the event of multiple winners by discard, all winning hands are paid for by the discarder. The seat winds rotate regardless of whether or not the dealer was one of the winners.
Greater Versions of Limit Hands
It is recommended to adopt higher scores for harder versions of the following limit hands:
Four Concealed Triplets Ensured: 12000 (double limit)
Four Concealed Triplets on a pair wait.
Four Consecutive Triplets Ensured: 12000 (double limit)
Four Consecutive Triplets where either wait obtains the pattern.
Pure Nine Gates: 20000 (quadruple limit)
Having the final shape of 111234567999 on a 9-side wait.
Pure Thirteen Orphans: 12000 (double limit)
Having the final shape of every unique terminal and honor on a 13-side wait.
Seven Simple Consecutive Pairs: 12000 (double limit)
Seven Consecutive Pairs without terminals.
Liability Payment
For the following hands, a player whose discard is called for the last meld needed to ensure the pattern is liable to pay entirely if the hand is won by self-draw. If the hand is won by discard, the discarder and the liable player split the payment.
